If you ever have the opportunity to work with Kyle — take it. You’ll learn more than you ever though possible and produce some of the best work of your life.

I worked with Kyle in two capacities.

First, Kyle was the research lead on two projects I worked on. Kyle was an exceptional mentor and leader during both projects. It was inspiring to see how rapidly he ramped up to the subject matter, and he set the bar for how our team approached research. From a tactical perspective, Kyle guided us through the project with clarity and precision. He navigated the goals of many stakeholders and tight project timelines with ease. Under his guidance, we were able to produce high-quality work that made a significant contribution to Web3.

Second, I supported the promotion of Kyle’s research on User Experience Design in Crypto. This body of work was well researched and was presented in a couple of different venues. The first was to support the teams participating in Web3athon, the largest multi-chain hackathon. Kyle’s research helped all attendees understand the challenges that Web3 faces when it comes to User Experience, regardless of skill level. Creating work that delivers value to an audience with a broad range of expertise was exceptionally useful during a hackathon with over 6000 attendees. That said, my favorite moment in promoting this research was watching a presentation Kyle gave in a more intimate setting to ~30 people. His thought provoking talk laid the foundation for a rich round-table discussion on User Experience that I have never seen in a Web3 setting. He facilitated this conversation, creating space for new ideas to take shape and build off of his research.
